Project Description

This project stems from the transformation of the living area into a spacious open-plan space, designed to optimise the layout and allow light to flow throughout the home. To highlight the clean lines and ensure flawless visual continuity, flush hinged doors were chosen – design elements that blend naturally into the surrounding architecture.
The colour palette strikes a pleasing balance between neutral shades and vibrant accents. The warmth of the wood and tiles interacts seamlessly with the pop colours of the lamps. In the bedroom, however, green takes centre stage, providing a backdrop for an elegant mix of period furniture and contemporary details.
In the bathroom, the combination of textured surfaces, decorative tiles and deep shades of blue creates a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere. The end result is a home with authentic charm, fully reflecting the personality and style of those who live there.

Interview

How did your passion for architecture and interior design come about?

My passion for architecture stems from my professional training and from my travels, which have allowed me to discover contemporary buildings and architecture from different eras. My interest in interior design springs from my passion for art and is reflected in my choice of furniture, furnishings, materials and colour schemes.

What is the most important focus when you start a new project?

For me, the fundamental aspect is functionality, that is, the optimal distribution of spaces according to the needs of those who use them.

In your opinion, what role can a door play within a project?

I consider the door to be an element that can make a significant contribution to the style of the home. In contemporary and minimalist settings, I usually opt for flush-mounted doors that match the colour of the walls, creating a harmonious and cohesive visual impact, whilst in more classic and eclectic buildings I like to highlight the door by mixing different colours and materials.

What made you choose Ermetika products?

When I choose materials for my projects, I always ask the fitters for their opinion, because they handle the product first-hand and can directly test its quality. The feedback I’ve received on Ermetika products has been entirely positive.
